THE PREDICTION
Both of these sides come into this game on the back of two successive defeats - Wolfsburg’s first of the season and only Stuttgart’s third. The hosts have only lost one of their last seven at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, though, and have also scored in all but one of their home league games this term. Wolfsburg’s usually solid defence has let in seven goals in their last two games, albeit against leaders Bayern and fourth-placed Frankfurt. Oliver Glasner also has his two first-choice full-backs suspended for this one, but his side have failed to score in just one away league outing this season, finding the net at least twice in six of their last eight. And with two prolific and in-form targetmen leading the lines, there should be goals for both teams here.
