THE PREDICTION

Schalke 04 were seconds away from ending their long winless run in the Bundesliga on Sunday, but a late equaliser from Augsburg extended the drought to 27 games. Nevertheless, the point and the performance will have given them a slight lift, as will the return of talented midfielder Amine Harit, who has been welcomed back into the fold following disciplinary action. Freiburg did manage to end their shorter winless streak of nine matches at the weekend with victory over Arminia Bielefeld, but they have only won one of their last 12 league games on the road. Neither team look particularly convincing and therefore they may have to settle for a point apiece.
