THE PREDICTION
Mainz gave their survival hopes another big boost last Saturday with a late 1-0 victory at home to Freiburg, and they could even move out of the bottom three for the first time since November this weekend if they get another win. The 05ers have collected 15 points in 11 games under Bo Svensson, having taken just six from the previous 14. Hoffenheim continue to be frustratingly inconsistent, losing 2-0 at Stuttgart last time out, although they are in decent form at home with three wins from their last four Bundesliga games in Sinsheim. The visitors have greater incentive and have wind in their sails, and having taken points from recent visits to Monchengladbach, Leverkusen and Dortmund, they can certainly get something here.
