THE PREDICTION

Mainz have a good recent record against Hertha having won five of the last seven encounters between the two clubs. However, they have lost five of their last six away Bundesliga matches, and are second from bottom in the table following back-to-back defeats against teams around them. They face an improving Hertha side who have lost just one of their last six games, including respectable draws away to Bayer Leverkusen and most recently Borussia Monchengladbach, and who welcome back top scorer Matheus Cunha following his suspension at the weekend. Putting current form ahead of recent meetings, Hertha should come out on top this time.
