THE PREDICTION
Borussia Monchengladbach squandered a 2-0 half-time lead at Hoffenheim in midweek as they slipped to their first defeat in five games. That left them seventh - likely to be the final European place this season - but only on goal difference, so they can ill afford another slip-up here. Arminia Bielefeld condemned Schalke to relegation with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday and thereby boosted their own survival hopes, moving them four points clear of the relegation play-off spot. Frank Kramer’s men have been tough to beat lately, losing just once and conceding only three goals in their last six games, although they only scored five themselves. They will look to frustrate their opponents again here and there was only one goal when these two sides met in January, so under 2.5 goals may be worth a punt.
