THE PREDICTION
Koln gave their survival hopes a massive boost with an impressive 2-1 win at home to RB Leipzig on Tuesday, ending a nine-match winless streak. They can put more pressure on the teams around them with a victory against an Augsburg side who are not completely safe themselves. Heiko Herrlich’s side lost 2-0 at Eintracht Frankfurt in midweek, although suspensions and rotation - presumably with this game in mind - meant it was not a first-choice line-up. They have been stronger at home recently, picking up 11 points from their last six matches at the WWK Arena. Augsburg are also unbeaten in their last 12 meetings with Koln, although half of those did end in draws. The hosts should therefore be slightly favoured here, but with Koln lifted by that midweek win, draw no bet may well be a sensible choice.
