THE PREDICTION

Arminia Bielefeld go into the penultimate matchday of the season in the relegation play-off spot, but only on goal difference. And it is goals they have been struggling with most this season, scoring just three in their last seven games. Overall, only basement boys Schalke have found the net less often this season. They have kept clean sheets in their last two home games, though, and face an injury-hit Hoffenheim side who have nothing to play for after their safety was mathematically ensured last weekend with a 4-2 win at home to Schalke. The visitors’ recent away outings have not been so high-scoring, and after the goalless draw in the reverse fixture, under 2.5 goals looks a good bet here.
