THE PREDICTION
Mainz finally registered their first league win of the season – and their first under coach Jan-Moritz Lichte – at Freiburg last Sunday to lift themselves out of the bottom three, thanks to a hat-trick from Jean-Philippe Mateta. That took the Frenchman’s tally to seven this season, the same as Hoffenheim counterpart Andrej Kramaric. He bagged a goal on his return to action against Stuttgart last Saturday and the two strikers will have a big role in how this contest goes. With that in mind, plus the fact Hoffenheim have not failed to score on their travels since February, both teams to score looks a good bet.
