With promotion rivals Greuther Furth and Hamburger SV both dropping points over the weekend, Holstein Kiel will be looking to take advantage in the first of their four games in hand. Ole Werner’s men bounced back from their first back-to-back defeats of the season with a comfortable 3-1 win at Osnabruck on Saturday and would go third with victory here. Nurnberg will have something to say about that, though, as they look to extend their six-match unbeaten run. They have won their last two at home having previously gone six without a win at the Max-Morlock-Stadion, but Robert Klauss’ side have only registered one clean sheet in their last eight home encounters.
