Holstein Kiel’s mammoth month continues with their fourth match in the space of 11 days. After being thrashed 5-0 by Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal on Saturday, they can fully focus on their promotion bid, with Ole Werner’s men currently three points off third place with three games in hand. Their league form has taken a bit of a dip recently, with just one win in their last five Bundesliga 2 outings, but they have won their last three at home. This is also a huge match for Sandhausen at the other end of the table, as they have the chance to pull away from the bottom three here. Their form at home has been good recently but it has been a different story on the road, where they have lost all but one of their league games this season. Kiel to win therefore looks a solid bet, but combining it with both teams to score - as has happened in six of the seven meetings between these teams in the second tier - is also worth considering.
