Hamburger SV have drafted in club legend Horst Hrubesch for the final three games of the season to rescue their faltering promotion bid. The 70-year-old replaces Daniel Thioune following a five-match winless run, which has left HSV in fifth place going into this match, although the Red Shorts have only lost one of their last nine at home. Nurnberg, in contrast, are in their best form of the season and head to the Volksparkstadion unbeaten in seven matches. The change of coach may well give Hamburg the boost they need, though, and with the visitors missing no fewer than eight players for this trip - including all three senior strikers - and having little to play for, a home win is the recommended bet.
