THE PREDICTION

It is the third game in the space of seven days for Sandhausen but having won their last three, they might not mind that. Their best run of the campaign has lifted them out of the bottom three and they can move further away from trouble with another victory here. That said, all three of those wins came at home, and Gerhard Kleppinger’s side have lost all their last eight away league matches. Their hosts here will certainly not be giving anything away either, as Greuther Furth look to strengthen their grip on second place and bounce back from only their second defeat in 15 league games on Sunday. Furth have only lost once at home in 2021, and that was to leaders Bochum, but they have struggled to keep clean sheets at Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer this season. Sandhausen will certainly be confident of scoring with the roll they are on, so consider both teams to score.
