THE PREDICTION

Leaders Bochum continued their recent pattern of winning two games then losing one with a 3-1 defeat at Darmstadt two weeks ago. The good news for them is that they have not suffered back-to-back losses in the league since February last year, and they are up against a team in Jahn Regensburg who have won just one of their last eight matches. The visitors are not yet mathematically safe but with a five-point advantage over the relegation play-off place plus a game in hand, they should be fine, and therefore there is little pressure or expectation on them here. Bochum have had two weeks to digest that defeat at Darmstadt and should get the job done.
