THE TEAM NEWS
HAMBURGER SV
Predicted line-up (4-3-3): Daniel Heuer; Gyamerah, Jung, Van Drongelen, Leibold; Fein, Kinsombi, Dudziak; Jatta, Hinterseer, Kittel
Unavailable:
Doubtful: Ewerton (Injured), Letschert (Injured), Hunt (Injured)
- Hamburger SV have collected four points from their first two league games but were taken to a penalty shootout by third division outfit Chemnitzer FC in the cup on Sunday before eventually progressing.
- Boss Dieter Hecking only made one change to his line-up last weekend and that was an enforced one as captain Aaron Hunt missed out due to a groin strain, with David Kinsombi replacing him in midfield.
- Centre-backs Ewerton and Timo Letschert are the only other injury concerns for Hecking, while Jan Gyamerah and Lukas Hinterseer are both set to start against the club they left in the summer.
BOCHUM
Predicted line-up (4-2-3-1): Riemann; Osei-Tutu, Decarli, Lorenz, Danilo Soares; Losilla, Eisfeld; Lee Chung-Yong, Maier, Blum; Ganvoula
Unavailable:
Doubtful: Decarli (Injured), Blum (Injured), Leitsch (Injured)
- Bochum had to come from behind to scrape past amateur opponents KSV Baunatal in the DFB Cup first round on Saturday and they have only picked up one point from two games in the new Bundesliga II season.
Summer signings Saulo Decarli and Danny Blum will be assessed after sitting out the cup game with minor knocks, while centre-back Maxim Leitsch is also an injury doubt.
Coach Robin Dutt switched to a front two against Baunatal and summer signing Silvere Ganvoula will certainly keep his place after netting a hat-trick, but Dutt may revert to one up front for this tougher assignment.
BETTING ANALYSIS
Bochum have won just one of their last 17 away league matches and have conceded two or more goals in nine of the last 11. They take on a Hamburg side who have failed to find the net in just one of their last 14 home games in all competitions, so there should be goals in this one.
Betting tip: Over (Over or under 2.5 goals)
