THE LOWDOWN
WOLVES
- Wolves secured their second successive victory in their last three Premier League matches, beating Southampton 0-1, with Raul Jimenez scoring his first goal since recovering from a fractured skull suffered in November 2020.
- It would be a surprise if Wolves were to change their side following this win and whilst left-back Rayan Ait Nouri could be set for a return to the squad, the likes of Pedro Neto and Jonny Otto remain long-term absences.
NEWCASTLE
- Newcastle remain without a Premier League victory this season after being held to a 1-1 draw away at Watford after taking the lead against Hornets, only to be pegged back in the second half.
- Steve Bruce still has a significant number of injuries to contend with, most notably captain Jamal Lascelles and striker Callum Wilson, with both set to miss out once again here.

THE PREDICTION
The pressure on Newcastle boss Bruce shows no signs of easing following their point against Newcastle promoted Watford and a Wolves side starting to come into some form will be looking to pile on the misery for Newcastle at Molineux. Matches involving Wolves this season under Bruno Lage have proven low scoring affairs, with each of their six Premier League matches in 2021-22 seeing under 2.5 goals scored. When considering that the same outcome has not only occurred in Newcastle’s last two league games, but also in the last five league fixtures between the two sides. It would be surprise if this one wasn’t to be another one short on goals so back under 2.5 goals regardless of who comes out on top.
Tip: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
