Crystal Palace put an end to their three-game winless run in all competitions by coming away from Old Trafford with an excellent 0-1 victory last weekend - a result that saw the Eagles move into the top half of the Premier League table.
The win against Man Utd was an excellent away performance from a side who were defensively resilient throughout, and despite the absence of injured striker Odsonne Edouard, Palace were able break through courtesy of a fine strike from centre-back Joachim Andersen - the Dane's second goal of the season.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Steve Cooper's men are grinding out results now and their fighting spirit was on full show last weekend when they salvaged a draw against Brentford despite being reduced to ten men.
After a cagey and fairly uneventful first half, Forest went a man down when Moussa Niakhate was dismissed for two bookable offences, and it took only two minutes for Brentford to capitalise when Christian Norgaard put the visitors in front. However, Forest rallied when Nicolas Dominguez scored his first goal for the club, and they held on for a well-earned draw.

The major team news coming out of the Palace camp is that Eberechi Eze has suffered a serious hamstring injury and will miss the next couple of months of action.

Both sides can be relatively pleased with their Premier League form in recent weeks as they have made themselves hard to beat. Indeed, Nottingham Forest's only defeats in the division have been to Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City, while Crystal Palace have only been the losing side on two occasions. Neither are conceding many goals at the moment, so while Palace are marginal favourites on home turf, backing there to be under 2.5 goals seems like a safer play in the betting markets.
