THE LOWDOWN
BRIGHTON
- A Neil Maupay goal late on against bitter rivals Crystal Palace saw Brighton escape Selhurst Park with a 1-1 draw in a bad-tempered affair, a point which sees them locked on 13 points with four other sides such as Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd.
- Centre-back Adam Webster isn’t expected to return for Brighton until after the international break, Steven Alzate is also expected to be out although both midfielders Yves Bissouma and Enock Mwepu could both be passed fit to feature against Arsenal.
ARSENAL
- The Gunners recorded their third-straight Premier League victory last Sunday and their sweetest yet as they triumphed 3-1 against Tottenham in the North London derby.
- Captain Granit Xhaka suffered a knee injury against Spurs which will keep him out for the next three months, so the Swiss international will miss out here with Albert Sambi Lokonga likely to take his place in the team.

THE PREDICTION
Arsenal could easily have disposed of head coach Mikel Arteta after a nightmare start to the season, but they stuck with the Spaniard and look to have come out the side with three straight Premier League wins and some real momentum behind them now. Brighton however, will prove an extremely tough test with the Seagulls having won four of their six league matches so far. However, Arteta’s Gunners have a good record against Brighton, beating them home and away last season and when taking into the account the quality at the visitors’ disposal such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up front and attacking midfielders Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka, backing Arsenal draw no bet is well worth considering here.
