- Coventry City had to settle for a goalless draw at Burton Albion on Saturday but it was enough to move them to the top of the League 1 table.
- Michael Rose came off with an injury in the previous win over Blackpool and did not recover in time for Saturday's match, so Dominic Hyam is set to start alongside Kyle McFadzean in the centre of defence once again.
- Brandon Mason is close to returning having played 90 minutes for the Under-23s last week while loanee Callum O'Hare, who has scored twice in four substitute appearances, could make his first start.
