Each season, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise lose key players but each season, thanks to their affiliation with Brighton and Hove Albion so shared recruitment expertise, they replace and, more often than not, improve. CLUB BRUGGE
Club Brugge won the Belgian title in 2022 and then reached the UEFA Champions League knockout stages in fairly bizarre circumstances last season. However, the defence of their title was shoddy and they required four different managers throughout the campaign. Things seemed to have finally turned under Ronny Deila but they are regressing again.
The visitors began the season in electric form, scoring goals at will and dominating their opposition. However, their much-needed 2-1 defeat of defending champions Antwerp last weekend was needed to end a five-match winless run of form in the league. They remain a very strong and enterprising, attacking team, though.
