Club Brugge look in some discomfort for the first time in a long while with their 0-5 defeat at home to RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday their fourth match without a win across all competitions. A defeat at Manchester City at the start of the month is par for the course but a 2-1 defeat at Mechelen last Friday in the Belgian Pro League has thrown the cat amongst the pigeons at the top of the table as they now face at least a seven point chase of Union Saint-Gilloise, who play on Friday to heap the pressure on. Hosts Genk will be well aware of their opportunity here after they too have struggled in recent weeks in the league. A 2-0 loss at rock-bottom Beerschot last Sunday is inexcusable for a side with title ambitions and neither team meets here in any great shape. Taking Club Brugge to sort themselves out with double chance seems a sensible approach but perhaps opting for over 2.5 goals in this crunch match and leaving the result up to chance is even wiser at this current time.
