ANDERLECHT VS BEERSCHOT PREDICTION
Anderlecht lost their first match in four Belgian Pro League games 1-0 away to Sporting Charleroi on Friday and now face the team that beat them the time previous in Beerschot. Since topping the league briefly at the end of November, Beerschot have lost back-to-back league games to AS Eupen and Excel Mouscron and then suffered a coronavirus outbreak that has postponed many a match around the league over the last few weeks. Having not played since the 12th, Beershcot should be able to get over their mini bump in form and find the back of the net but they will also find an immovable object in Anderlecht’s home form. The hosts have not lost at home this season and are very tight defensively. Beerschot’s only draw this season being a 5-5 at Kortrijk does not look achievable here and Anderlecht will be confident of keeping the newly-promoted upstarts quiet. A home win and both teams to score looks feasible, but draw no bet in favour of Anderlecht would be understandable given the visitors’ chaotic nature.
