THE PREDICTION
Borussia Dortmund are bidding to reach the final of the DFB-Pokal for the first time since winning it in 2017. They are enjoying a strong finish to the campaign with four straight wins in the Bundesliga, and Edin Terzic would surely love to keep that going and finish his stint as interim boss with a trophy. Holstein Kiel have been the surprise package in the cup this season, although aside from knocking out holders Bayern Munich on penalties in the second round, they have had a fairly kind route to the semis. The Bundesliga 2 side are also in the midst of a hectic fixture schedule at the moment due to postponements, whereas Dortmund do not play in the league until the following weekend and can therefore field a full-strength team for this one. The Black and Yellows have been scoring heavily lately - hitting two or more goals in eight of their last 11 competitive matches - and it is hard to see Kiel keeping the likes of Haaland and Sancho at bay, so the combination of Dortmund to win and over 3.5 goals is an appealing option.
