FPL Gameweek 19 – head-to-head comparisons: Paul Pogba vs Hakim Ziyech
Paul Pogba (£7.7m) took his goal well against Burnley to send Man Utd top of the Premier League and he has scored 16 points over his last two games with an assist against Aston Villa in Gameweek 17. Hakim Ziyech (£8.1m) enjoyed a brief spell of ownership after scoring a goal and three assist over two games a while back but the Morrocan has succumbed to injuries and rotation since then to see him at under 3% ownership at the time of writing.
Chelsea’s form leaves a lot to be desired right now and back-to-back away games at a resilient Fulham and high-flying Leicester could put Frank Lampard under some real pressure. Whatever happens in those two matches, Ziyech’s involvement is up for debate and the likelihood of him starting both games is low. Pogba’s performances are reminiscent of recent seasons in which he has gone on small spells of attacking form and he has played the full 90 minutes of the last three league games in a row.
Verdict: Paul Pogba
