FPL Gameweek 19 – head-to-head comparisons: Bruno Fernandes vs Heung-Min Son
Bruno Fernandes (£11.3m) drew just his sixth blank of the season in a drab 0-1 win at Burnley but now faces the prospect of an out-of-form Liverpool on Sunday as the almost solitary reason that Man Utd currently top the Premier League. Heung-Min Son (£9.8m) also blanked in a 1-1 draw for Spurs against a suddenly resilient Fulham. The South Korean remains the highest-scoring player in FPL but that could change this double gameweek.
Son will play just the one fixture away to Sheffield United, with the Blades winning their first match of the season against Newcastle this week and possibly ready to cause their first upset for some time. However, if there is a player on the pitch at Anfield this Sunday capable of making the difference right now it is most likely Fernandes and a follow-up game at Fulham gives him ample opportunity to outscore Son here.
