Dinamo Tbilisi went 2-0 up early on via goals from Algassime Bah and Mate Vatsadze before Mondorf pulled a goal back via Hatim Far in the second half.
Dinamo Tbilisi, under the management of former Newcastle United attacker Temur Ketsbaia, haven’t won a European tie since they defeated Connah’s Quay Nomads in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League in 2020. Mondorf-les-Bains are UEFA competition debutants.
