Denmark vs Greece prediction
Denmark come into this one on the back of another slick display as they dispatched of Belarus by six goals to nil in Hungary the other day. The Danes have some brilliant talent coming through to go with their older experienced heads, as they target what would be a fourth FIFA World Cup qualification in their last five tournaments.
Greece, the UEFA EURO 2004 winners, haven’t played at a major tournament since the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Recent improvement, which has seen promotion to League A of the UEFA Nations League, suggested they had a real chance in this group but they backed up a 3-0 loss to Denmark last month by losing 3-1 to Scotland this month.
That came six months after beating the Scots 3-0 in Glasgow and so there will be immense frustration for the Greeks. Both sides play a proactive style and so both teams scoring would appear a good bet.
