Key stats

  • Denmark are unbeaten in the previous three international meetings between these sides, recording two wins and a draw — all without conceding a goal.
  • Denmark have lost just one of their last 23 World Cup qualifying matches (W18 D4), winning 13 of the last 15 (D1 L1).
  • Denmark are unbeaten in their last 11 World Cup qualifying matches at home (W8 D3).
  • Belarus have lost their last 11 World Cup qualifying matches, since a 4-2 victory at home against Estonia in March 2021.

Denmark vs Belarus prediction

Under the management of former Anderlecht boss Brian Riemer, Denmark have a lot of quality as they push for qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Danes should head to Glasgow with a lot of confidence off the back of a hammering of Belarus – who are very poor.

Belarus haven’t had home advantage in this qualifying campaign but they are very poor regardless of that. They began with a 5-1 hammering at the hands of Greece in Athens before then suffering a 2-0 defeat against Scotland in Belarus. Last month, they suffered a 6-0 defeat to Denmark before a 2-1 loss to Scotland once again.

Belarus have a very poor squad and they are very limited in the final third in particular, but Denmark are expected to ease to a comfortable win in Copenhagen.

Denmark vs Belarus tip: Denmark to win -2 handicap
