Debrecen vs Pyunik prediction

Debrecen finished fourth in the Hungarian top-flight last season. Coached by Estonian Gert Remmel, with English leadership at the top of the club from Stockport County owner Mark Stott and Simon Wilson, Debrecen have developed well in recent times with former Bolton Wanderers boss Adam Bogdan their Sporting Director.

Pyunik come into this one on the back of defeating Maltese minnows Marsaxlokk in the first qualifying round. Pyunik won the first-leg by three goals to nil in Malta before completing a 4-0 aggregate victory back at home in Armenia.

It could be a close contest but Debrecen would have to be viewed as the favourites for this first-leg, especially with their home advantage.

Debrecen vs Pyunik tip: Debrecen to win
