THE FACTS
What is the PDC Home Tour? With the PDC Tour currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, the PDC devised the tournament to supply some darting action to players and fans, with all matches being streamed live from the homes of the players who are involved.
Who is taking part in the PDC Home Tour? All 128 PDC Tour Card holders were invited to take part, though there were some absences in the first phase with the most notable being Michael van Gerwen, whilst Daryl Gurney, Mensur Suljovic and Adrian Lewis were also missing. What is the format of the PDC Home Tour? The tournament is played in a round-robin format consisting of four players per group; the first phase took place over 32 consecutive evenings and we are now left with the 32 group winners, who have been separated into eight groups of four for the play-offs.
Where can I watch the PDC Home Tour? All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for FREE to ALL registered PDCTV users, regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.

Ryan Searle was one of the most impressive performers in the first phase of the PDC Home Tour having averaged 100.23 in winning all of his three matches in Group 6. That display was no fluke as he proved his class earlier this year when winning a ProTour event in February with victories against Michael van Gerwen, Glen Durrant, Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price along the way.

Sweden’s Daniel Larsson was the lowest ranked player in his qualifying group and he defied the odds by winning all three matches to claim a place in the play-offs. Larsson is a very experienced and competent competitor but repeating the feat might be a step too far.

Ryan Searle won a ranking title earlier this year beating some of the biggest and best names in the sport whilst doing so and his performance when qualifying from the first phase of this tournament suggests he has a very good chance of winning this group.

I’ve tipped Ryan Searle to win the group and I think he looks to be decent value to come out on top in his match against the group favourite Rob Cross in what should be a good, competitive contest.
Luke Woodhouse -1.5 handicap vs Daniel Larsson
Luke Woodhouse defeated Daniel Larsson 6-3 when they met on the main PDC circuit back in February and I think he is capable of following that up with another win against the Swedish player when they meet in this group.
