Cyprus vs Austria prediction

The Cypriots have sunk to being one of the weakest sides in European international football. They come into this one, though, on the back of an improved run of form with a 2-2 draw against Romania followed by fighting back to earn a point against Bosnia-Herzegovina and then a hammering of San Marino.

They now face an Austria side that, coached by former Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick, sit at the top of Group H, a couple of points clear of the Bosnians with two games to go. However, Austria did most recently suffer a surprise and slender 1-0 defeat to Romania in Bucharest last month.

Austria have an abundance of quality and they have an intense style implemented by Rangnick. They will be expected to overrun Cyprus and earn a comfortable victory.
