Crystal Palace vs Fredrikstad prediction

Crystal Palace have a lot of transfer speculation overhanging them with rumours suggesting that Marc Guehi, Adam Wharton and Eberechi Eze could all yet depart. They have won the Community Shield this season and earned themselves a point on the opening day of the Premier League season away at Chelsea at the weekend.

They face a Fredrikstad side that qualified for European competition as a result of winning the 2024 Norwegian Cup. They finished sixth in the Norwegian top-flight last year. The visitors for this first-leg come into this one on the back of a 5-1 aggregate loss to Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.

Crystal Palace will be expected to completely overwhelm Fredrikstad and they will have a buoyant home crowd, and they will expect to put the tie to bed at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace vs Fredrikstad tip: Crystal Palace to win -1 handicap
