Welsh Fire’s brilliant bowling attack again were the catalyst for their side’s success, this time at Edgbaston. Bowling first, the Fire made mincemeat of Birmingham Phoenix’s batting after the hosts had gotten off to a decent start. Taking wickets at regular intervals, the Fire ultimately restricted Birmingham to just 112/7. SOUTHERN BRAVE
Southern Brave were bailed out by the rain at Lord’s midweek after making an awful start to the game. Batting first, their top order once again flattered to deceive and it was 34/3 by the time with inclement weather arrived to save their skin and curtail the match.
