Once bowler Prasidh Krishna had carved his way through Ireland’s top order during the powerplay, the outcome was inevitable.
THE PREDICTION
Whilst Ireland can at least compete with the bat against this Indian side especially with the small boundaries in Dublin, it’s clear that their bowlers are struggling against the top-quality hitters that the visiting side possess. As was the case last time out, India’s substantial firepower should see Ireland unable to match them in terms of fast run accumulation, so expect another win here for India and as such a series sweep in this short tour.
