Surrey’s hopes of recording back-to-back County Championship titles are firmly in their own hands going into the final month of the season and three wins from three would see them lift the trophy, starting here against Warwickshire. The visitors will pose a stern test when considering their bowling attack, but their batting is weak and was exposed badly vs Middlesex last time out. With Kemar Roach back in the fold, Surrey should restrict their opponents to very little in terms of runs and ultimately pick up the win over four days.

Northamptonshire vs Lancashire – 10:30 BST
Northamptonshire head into September staring down the barrel of relegation and it’s hard to see a miraculous turnaround occurring when assessing their current squad. The Northants batters have struggled all season, whilst the bowlers lack the cutting edge and quality needed to take 20 wickets. Lancashire’s top order should cash in on what is normally a good batting track with small boundaries at Wantage Road and have far more chance of taking 20 wickets compared to their opponents. Back the visitors to win via the draw no bet market.

Durham vs Sussex – 10:30 BST
Whilst second-placed Worcestershire host third-placed Glamorgan, league leaders Durham will no doubt sense the opportunity to make their lead at the top of the Division Two table unassailable by beating Sussex. So far, the side coached by Ryan Campbell have won five of their 11 games played, losing just once. Sussex meanwhile, have won just once but are yet to lose, drawing nine times. This however, represents their toughest challenge of the season against a Durham unit well-stocked in all departments and with home advantage in their favour, who boast all the tools needed to inflict on Sussex their first loss of the campaign.
