Chile vs Peru prediction

Both Chile and Peru have majorly underwhelmed in the last couple of years, despite both having been genuine forces for much of the 2010s, with FIFA World Cup qualifications and impressive CONMEBOL Copa America exploits.

Chile come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Russia in an international friendly the other day. They are now unbeaten in their last three matches. Peru, on the other hand, most recently shared a 1-1 draw with Russia last week and they are now winless in their last seven matches.

The two teams clashed in an international friendly last month with the Chileans defeating the Peruvians by two goals to one. They do appear evenly matched but Chile are trending in a more positive direction and are slight favourites for this one.

Chile vs Peru tip: Double chance – Chile to win or draw
