Cercle Brugge vs Hearts Prediction

Cercle Brugge will be eager to get back on track in the Conference League after losing their last two matches in the Belgian league. They have had tough assignments against Anderlecht and Standard losing both matches but they will likely enjoy the return to European action here.

They have four points from their opening three matches having beaten St Gallen, lost to Vikingur and then drawing against LASK last time out.

Hearts have had a similar run of form themselves as they have played the top two teams in the Scottish league and duly lost to Rangers and Celtic in their last two games. They will also be eager to return to European action where they have done well so far winning two of their three matches. They won a tough trip to Dinamo Minsk on matchday one and then beat Omonia Nicosia before losing to Heidenheim last time out.

They have no new absentees and Calem Nieuwenhof, Gerald Taylor and Yutaro Oda remaining sidelined. Neil Critchley has options to choose from and while he may make some rotations, they will put out a strong team in the hope of a result.

This will be an interesting tie which offers both teams a chance to halt a losing run. The hosts will relish home advantage here but we expect goals at both ends of the pitch.

Cercle Brugge vs Hearts Tip: Over 2.5 goals
