Under the management of former Liverpool winger Albert Riera, Celje reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season. The Slovenians sit at the top-of-the-table domestically and they demolished Lugano in the previous round of this competition earlier this month.
They now face a Banik Ostrava side that were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League by Legia Warsaw in the second qualifying round, before another couple of entertaining performances as they defeated Austria Vienna by five goals to four on aggregate in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Banik have proven themselves to be a fun team for the neutral, and Celje, with Albert Riera at the helm, play an almost overly attacking style of football.
