Canada vs Venezuela prediction

Coached by former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch, the Canadians have put in some good performances and they have improved over the last couple of years. However, their form has dipped of late with a goalless draw against Ecuador making it three without a goal or a win, having been beaten by Guatemala in the CONCACAF Gold Cup quarter-finals in the summer.

Venezuela will remain the only South American team to have never qualified for a FIFA World Cup. The Venezuelans have a lack of quality and that was on full display as they suffered a 6-3 hammering at the hands of Colombia to end their qualifying campaign.

Venezuela are beginning a new era and inertia has set in, with Canada desperately requiring some feel good factor at the end of this year and so have to be firm favourites.
