Cameroon vs DR Congo Prediction

Marc Brys and his impressive squad of Cameroonians finished second in a tough group, beaten by an overperforming Cape Verde side in a crucial showdown during the September international break. That was their only defeat in the ten-game CAF qualifying campaign for the tournament.

The Democratic Republic of Congo were also strong in qualification with seven victories and a draw in their ten matches, but they finished below a strong Senegal side in Group B. DR Congo most recently edged past Sudan by a goal to nil last month, courtesy of a 29th minute winner scored by Theo Bongonda.

DR Congo have a lot of attacking talent but have matched that by being resolute. Extra-time would not be a shock here and that should perhaps be the thing to back.

Cameroon vs DR Congo Tip: Draw
