Burkina Faso vs Niger prediction
The Burkina Faso have an improving squad after a couple of years of regressing recently. They have returned to being one of the stronger sides in Africa but were drawn into a tough CAF qualification group for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, eventually finishing comfortably below a strong Egypt side.
They now face a Niger side that head into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat of Zambia as they finished their campaign with a major flourish, ending up with three successive victories. Those wins meant the minnows managed to finish second in their group, behind a very strong Morocco team.
That said, they were up against middling-to-weak opposition in that group and this is now another step up with Burkina Faso the firm favourites here.
