In the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League this summer, both Buducnost Podgorica and Milsami Orhei suffered defeats to fall into the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League this week.
Buducnost Podgorica suffered a 3-2 aggregate loss to Armenian champions Noah in an entertaining two-legged affair that began with a 1-0 loss in Armenia before a 2-2 draw in Montenegro.
