In the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League this summer, both Buducnost Podgorica and Milsami Orhei suffered defeats to fall into the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League this week.

Buducnost Podgorica suffered a 3-2 aggregate loss to Armenian champions Noah in an entertaining two-legged affair that began with a 1-0 loss in Armenia before a 2-2 draw in Montenegro. Moldovan champions Milsami, on the other hand, suffered their own slender 1-0 loss away from home as they were beaten by KuPS in Finland before a goalless draw in the second-leg in Moldova.

Both of these sides were unfortunate in close contests in their UEFA Champions League eliminations, and the nerves will likely take over and mean a tense affair here with full European elimination on the cards.
