AZ Alkmaar vs Levski Sofia prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League playoff round tie at the National Sports Academy Vasil Levski in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia last week, AZ Alkmaar comfortably defeated Levski Sofia by two goals to nil. Ibrahim Sadiq opened the scoring for AZ after 56 minutes, before former Tottenham Hotspur attacker Troy Parrott doubled their lead a few minutes’ later.

AZ have eased themselves through some seemingly tough matches, at least on paper, in European competition, and they now face a Levski side that have perhaps done well to even reach this stage.

As a result, and with their comfortable lead in the Netherlands, AZ will be expected to ease themselves past Levski and into the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

AZ Alkmaar vs Levski Sofia tip: AZ to win to nil
