Australia vs South Africa prediction

Australia return home full of momentum and ready to build on their outstanding performance in the West Indies, which saw them record a 5-0 sweep over the Windies in T20 cricket. All five games were won by the Aussies via a successful run chase with their batting clutching up under pressure and racking up a high volume of runs and it would be no surprise to see them in among the runs again here against South Africa.

The Proteas should provide a tougher challenge than West Indies, especially as they boast a stronger bowling attack that have more of a chance to stifle the Aussies. But this Australian side bat so deep and keep coming at their opponents. It’s hard to see such firepower not coming through and delivering here for the hosts, so backing Australia in game one is very much warranted.
