Astana vs Zimbru prediction

Astana come into this one on the back of a 7-0 demolition of Turan in the Kazakh Premier League in their most recent outing, last weekend. They sit three points clear at the top-of-the-table domestically after finishing as runners’ up to Kairat Almaty in the 2024 campaign.

They now face a Zimbru Chisinau side that most recently shared a 1-1 draw with FC Balti in the Moldovan Premier League at the weekend. The capital city club have been inconsistent at the start of their 2024/25 campaign, with two victories, a draw and two defeats in their opening five matches.

Zimbru would appear to be one of the weaker sides in the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round, and Astana would have to therefore be viewed as favourites.

Astana vs Zimbru tip: Astana to win
