  • Only one of Armenia’s last 58 World Cup qualifying matches have finished without a goal being scored.
  • Hungary have lost only one of their last seven World Cup qualifying matches (W3 D3).
  • Hungary are unbeaten in their last four World Cup qualifying matches away from home (W1 D3).
  • Hungary’s previous two away matches in the current World Cup qualifying campaign finished 2-2.
  • Hungary have scored two or more goals in their last six World Cup qualifying matches. They have scored exactly two in each of the five most recent.

Armenia vs Hungary prediction

Armenia have started Group F of UEFA qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with just one victory and three defeats. That one win came against the Republic of Ireland in Armenia in September. They were only beaten by a goal in both games last month against the Irish and Hungary.

The Hungarians have a fair bit of quality and have been a difficult to beat side in Europe in the last decade, but they have been underwhelming in this qualifying campaign. That said, that difficult to beat aspect did see them earn a last gasp point against Portugal in Lisbon in their most recent outing.

Armenia will believe they can stay in the game against a Hungary side without much attacking cohesion, but the visitors would have to remain favourites.

Armenia vs Hungary tip: Hungary to win & under 3.5 goals
