They now face a Puskas Akademia side that have emerged as a force in Hungarian football over the last few years. They finished as runners’ up to perennial champions Ferencvaros last season. Coached by Zsolt Hornyak, PAFC took Fiorentina to extra-time in the playoffs of this competition last season.
Aris and Puskas will both believe they are teams that almost belong in the league phase this season, so an evenly matched affair that ends in a draw seems a good bet for this first-leg.
