PREDICTION
Brighton are one of several teams who are hovering precariously above the relegation zone at present, with just a point separating them and Southampton in 18th. They picked up a point against that very side in midweek and it is that result that keeps them the right side of the drop zone at the moment. Their upcoming opponents West Ham fare slightly better, as they start the weekend in 12th and although they are just four points clear of the drop themselves, they are at least looking up the table rather then over their shoulders. They are lacking firepower in the final third at present due to injury though and therefore they may well struggle to put Brighton to the sword on Saturday.

MEMORABLE MEETING
The only previous Premier League meeting between these two clubs was back in October 2017 and it was one of Slaven Bilic’s last acts as West Ham manager. That was because Chris Hughton’s Brighton pulled off an away win at the London Stadium by a resounding score line of three goals to nil. It was a result that pushed the former Croatia manager closer to the sack.
