PREDICTION
With these two sides finishing third and second in the ISL regular season respectively, this is likely to be the tighter of the two semi-final ties in a bid to decide who ends up in the final next week.
FC Goa ended the season with three straight wins, a run of results which saw them sneak into the top four on the final day, while their opponents Chennaiyin FC are unbeaten in their last five league outings. There is not a lot to split these two sides and John Gregory’s men will be looking to earn that all-important away goal to take into the second leg and their boost their own chances of progressing to the final.
LAST MEETING
The last meeting between these two sides was as recently as February of this year. The Fatorda Stadium was the setting as FC Goa fell at home to Chennaiyin FC.
