FIFA 19 eSports – News Round-Up

In our weekly round-up here at The Stats Zone, we look at the biggest talking points currently within the FIFA eSports scene. These may range from player transfers, online/offline tournament announcements, tournament results and more.

TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are around a month away from the Global Series Playoffs, which will consist of two separate tournaments in a similar format to last year’s playoffs, with both competitions lasting three days. Both tournaments will take place in Germany and will see a total of 128 players competing for a place at the FIFA eWorld Cup.

While the Playoffs may still be a month away, this weekend sees the Nordic Masters take place at Dreamhack Summer in Sweden. The winners and runners up from the Swedish eAllsvenskan, the Norwegian Altibox eSerien and the Danish eSuperliga will all come together and face off on June 16th at the popular gaming festival for the right to be crowned this year’s Scandinavian champions. Keep an eye on our eSportsZone for a full preview of the event.
