• The local hope continued his progress with a tight four set battle against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Friday, and up to this point, he has managed to keep his focus and play with maturity.
• He will carry a great of confidence from that victory against his idol and also from his win over Dimitrov in the Brisbane International earlier this month.

It is difficult to see anything other than a close match between these two as they have beaten each other in the past and also have the experience of progressing further in this tournament.
